My dryer broke and the manufacturer (Miele) gave me 2 weeks to get a tech out. City Tech was at my house within 2 hours of me putting in my request. Tech Mike was courteous and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue (burned out heating assembly). I had an estimate within 24 hours for part cost and labor. As soon as they received the part, we scheduled the repair visit, and Mike and George did a great job replacing the element. I highly recommend City Tech for appliance repair.

It’s been difficult searching for an appliance professional, but I found the best at CityTech.
I found Alex at CityTech through Yelp. Alex was responsive to my initial request for help fixing a problematic Electrolux Dryer. Not only did Alex answer my questions clearly, Alex also contacted Electrolux directly to find out the details of my extended warranty and the parts needed to repair the dryer. I didn’t even ask him to do this, he did this on his own.
Alex is extremely professional and was easy to setup the initial appointment. Within 30 seconds of diagnosis runs on the dryer, Alex discovered the problem with the dryer - a faulty electrical issue that the technician from Electrolux did not properly diagnose. Alex did a full diagnostic and ordered the correct parts needed. Alex stayed until the job was complete. Alex even came back a few days later with the correct part he ordered on his own. Ultimately, I ended up ordering a new GE Dryer (Alex advised me), and how to correctly setup the drain hose, etc.
I will contact Alex in the future instead of doing any extended warranties. CityTech is very professional and actually cares about their customers getting the job done right.

When he came to fix my dishwasher, he was incredibly methodical in his approach; plus, he was so courteous throughout the whole process, always explaining what he was doing and making sure I was comfortable with everything. Alex did a great job installing a new appliance for us. He took our old subzero wine cooler out and installed in its place a new cooler. He was truly professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He was very careful when he took our old cooler out to make sure that he did not scratch our floors. And he did a great job meticulously adjusting the placement of our new cooler into the opening, so that it was leveled and fit perfectly. He also evaluated our new cooler to make sure that it was working and cooling well. Overall, he did an outstanding job and I’m a very happy customer! I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

I reached out to several companies for appliance repair and Tech HVAC & appliance were the ones that got back to me the fastest. And they were very nice and proper; they also were detailed and they provided same day or next day service as well and they told me upfront how the pricing and cost would work. This was not the case with the other companies (even GE was very secretive about their price and told me there was no way to know how much the repair would cost, which I found to be very strange since I already had a diagnosis). I still have to book them, I just need to fix my schedule to fit it for them to come ... Update to come. But I really appreciated that they answered my cost questions right away and they were friendly and professional.

Our oven's cooling fan had broken, so the entire range needed to be pulled out from its space in the kitchen to provide rear access for the repair. The tech took a lot of care while working so as not to damage our brand new wood floors or the range's feet. Work was efficient and quick.
